Saint Mary's Cathedral circa 1890
This is a hand-coloured Magic Lantern glass slide of Saint Mary's Cathedral, Sydney in the early 1890s. Only a few years previously, the glorious Northern facade of the Cathedral had been completed and finally roofed. In the following years, the great tower of the central crossing would be commenced, together with the completion of the transepts.

NOTES
This is a digital file of the glass slide held in Cultural Collections at the University of Newcastle NSW.
